Meeting a stranger, but never on your own
On TATAK only identity-checked neighbors trade, the meetup place is one we verified, and what you agreed on stays on record. If something goes wrong, we show you exactly where to go.
What we actually do
If something goes wrong
You do not have to sort it out alone. Take these in order.
- 1
Report inside TATAK
Report from the trade or the chat. We review it, can limit the account and stop the trade, and we preserve the record from that moment.

Barangay conciliation (Katarungang Pambarangay)
For money disputes between people living in the same city or municipality, barangay conciliation is the first step required by law. The messages and the agreed meetup stay in the app for you to look back on.

PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group (ACG)
Online scams are a criminal matter, and fraud committed through information technology carries a penalty one degree higher under the Cybercrime Prevention Act (RA 10175). You can file directly through the channels below.
What we do not do
TATAK is not a law-enforcement agency, and we do not hold or guarantee your money. Pay after you meet and check the item. If someone asks you to send money first, report it.
